About Anne Frank:
Anne Frank was born in Frankfurt, Germany on June 12,1929. The reason Anne Frank is so famous is for having a diary during the Holocaust and hiding in a secret annex for more than 2 years. Her family, Otto,Edith,Margot and Anne Frank moved into the secret annex on July 6, 1942. Anne received her red checkered diary for her 13th birthday from her parents. Anne's first diary entry reads: (addressed to the diary) "I hope I will be able to confide everything to you, as I have never been able to confide in anyone, and I hope you will be a great source of comfort and support." Anne's diary entries are in the form of a letter to her imaginary friend named, Kitty. Almost over 2 years after living in the secret annex on August 4,1944 The Nazi's arrest the eight Jews hiding in the secret annex. They were soon sent to concentration camps. Luckily, Anne, Margot, and Edith were together. But Otto was at Auschwitz. And died the following year in 1945 on January 6. That same year Anne Frank died at Bergen-Belson Concentration Camp. She died from Typhus at Fifteen years old. Typhus is a disease and it's contacted from a Tick bite, and the symptoms are high fever and headaches.
